Israel 1948 Interim - Courier cover sent May 23 1948 from a Photography store in Ben Hillel 11 street Besiege Jerusalem to Aley Alon transit camp in Kibbutz Dan (Northern Israel) by Rosh Pina post. Franked pair of 5mil of the scarce 3rd issue Local stamps (correct rate), tied by Rosette type postmark. Rosh Pina Mandate type arrival postmrk on back 25 June 1948. Address crossed out on front with notations " Not in Dan" & "Not Here". Very rare dipatch during the Arab siege on Jerusalem & the only cover known, sent to Kibbutz Dan with Rosh Pina arrival postmark. VF.
