Palestine Forerunners Russian Post - Top Rarity.  Postcard mailed from Odesa Russia (in Ukraine today) to Jerusalem 23.6.1914 with additional Russian transit p/m 25.6.1914. The card arrived in Jaffa where 2k overprinted 10 Para Russian stamp added tied by Jaffa p/m 10.7.1914 (Steichele p/m type 636) & forward to Jerusalem where arrival postmark added 18.7.1914. Only few such cards known to be forwarded with Russian stamps in the Holy Land during the Ottoman period.  The postcard was sent to David Yelin who was the head of the school for teachers in Jerusalem. The Hebrew message on back read as follows: Dear Mr. Yelin, Shalom..I am here to inform you of the requests to enter the general teaching year in the school which is under your supervision. Is 300 Rupies will be enough per year for my food ? If there is specific program, please send it to me to the below address. With respect..S. Oshlovitz, This card with 2 filing holes at bottom. F-VF & extremely rare.

Palestine Forerunners Turkish Post - Bir El Sebee (Beer Sheva today in the Northern Negev desert). Cover mailed to Berlin & reroute to Dusseldord Germany. Frank 1 Piastre (correct letter rate), tied by the rare Bir-El Sebee bridge type postmark dated 7.2.1916. Damas 7 Octagon type p/m on back 11.2.1916 alongside constantinople machine cancel p/m 28.2.1916. Few marginal wrinkle. F-VF, Rare seldom seen postmark.

Palestine Forerunners Turkish Post - Djenin (Jenin today in the west bank occupied territories).  20 Para imprinted UPU postcard mailed to Saffed. Djenin superb strike postmark dated 16.6.1914 with Caiffa (Haifa) transit p/m on back 17.6.1914 & Saffed arrival p/m on front 19.6.1914. Long Hebrew written message on back, continue on front left side. This in the finest example known for Djenin postmark during the Ottoman empire era. VF & very rare exhibit quality postcard.

Palestine Forrunners Turkish Post  DISCOVERY -  NEW EARLIEST DATE FOR SAFED REGISTERED COVERS.  Safed Registered cover #564 mailed to Braunschweig Germany. Franked 2 Piastre (Correct rate = 1 Pi for basic letter rate & 1 Pi for registration), tied by XF strike postmark dated 28.3.1892. Registration cachet on top, Collins type RC1 which only one other cover recorded dated 14.11.1895. In addition, this cover is the earliest new date known registered mailed from Safed, showing over 3 years earlier than the recorded date of 14.11.1895. Back side showing Galipoli Turkey transit p/m April 8 1892 & Braunschweig Germany arrival p/m April 11 1892 alongside Red wax seal. F-VF extremely rare showpiece.
